What happens when the system does not receive power?

1. Vehicles which are ADR – they have a leaver to cut the power supply, in that case, our system stops working. An exception is “small modem“, it may be possible to use the same power line as for the tachograph, but it must be checked with the tech team. Some modems have an internal battery and they will continue to operate for a few hours when the battery is new.

2. Vehicles which are not ADR – in the majority of situations, we try to perform installation in a way that allows our system to have a power supply when the vehicle is off.

3. The leaver which is located near the vehicle’s batteries has a position in which it cuts the power supply for all systems. Our system also doesn’t receive power in that case.

Client with an admin account should do:

Select “vehicle fleet“, then select that vehicle and click EDIT. In the new window change “STATUS“ to “inactive“

In the report on exceeding the speed limit, where is the data obtained from?

The speed limit data is obtained from HERE maps, while the speed data is obtained via a GPS modem.
